The Revival Method
The reason you pick yourself apart in the mirror and feel so effected by the number on the scale is because diet culture has wired your brain to think that life will be easier and better if you are thinner. But after decades of dieting, workout classes and nutrition coaches where has it all gotten you? If you are like me, it's probably made you exhausted, insecure, anxious and ready to jump off the roller coaster! As much as you want to be in your "best body" you are ready to experience peace. Of course you want to be healthy but you also don't want to think about and analyze everything you eat! After all it's not like dieting has given you long lasting results, right? The weight always creeps back and despite promising yourself that this time is different and you'll never gain the weight back a few months down the road the scale is higher than ever, your clothes are tight and you feel like a failure. Does everyone notice I gained the weight back? They must think I have no self control.
The good news is you don't have to think this way anymore! I created the Revival Method to rewire how your brain thinks about your looks, food, exercise and how to pursue your health.
After going on my own intuitive eating journey and working with clients, I learned that fixing our body image is essential to being able to have a good relationship with food and feel safe to trust ourselves to eat in moderation.

Three Step Process

Review
In order to build a new relationship to food and your body image we will need to take a look back on everything that made you who you are today. What was your childhood like? Did your mom struggle with her own body image? Were you exposed to diet culture on TV and in magazines? How did you feel as a student moving through school? Do you have any memories that stand out to you of a time that you felt uncomfortable in your body or around food. Together we will do a deep dive into your history so that we can see where you came from and then create the vision of where you will end up. What does food freedom look like to you? What triggers you to start insulting how your body looks? How would it feel to have positive feelings towards your body and trust yourself around cake, pizza and Oreos.

Reset
This is where we will work to repair your body image. Now that we see where you came from and the goal of where you're going, let's begin down the path to a new you. You may not like how you look, but can you respect all your body does for you? Through proven strategies and expert coaching I will guide you a place of body neutrality. On this journey, you will have unlimited access to message me through VOXER so that I can help you STOP THE SPIRAL before it begins. Body Image work takes time. You have decades of beliefs of what your body should look like that we need to unravel and rewrite. I want you to feel supported as you do this deep inner work. Currently your brain is filled with self loathing thoughts that are taking up space and time. As you overcome your limiting beliefs we will be preparing you to work on your relationship with food.

Empower
So what should you be eating? In diet culture we are taught how to diet. We follow rules that claim to be "health promoting behaviors" but really are just ways to restrict your food intake and take you away from your ability to trust yourself around all foods. My goal is to teach you what moderation feels like to you. I want you to enjoy eating healthy, nutrient dense foods without feeling shame for using butter or oil in your cooking. I want you to experience food freedom because you have learned to trust yourself around Oreos and ice cream and know that the amount you eat will leave you feeling mentally and physically happy. Food is not something you should feel uncomfortable around. You deserve to eat without the diet culture devil showing up to punish you for having too many carbs! This work will prove extremely freeing and you'll be amazed how easy it is to pursue your health without being on a diet.
